With different emotions, I am deeply grateful to the lord Jesus Christ for giving me such an opportunity to serve you. I could remember The moment you came to BENIN REPUBLIC, I said in my heart I have seen a father, because before this time I have not been home for more than 4 years because of the work of the campus ministry, my calling took another level... You've infused me with a passion for the Lord and the work that I never thought possible. All I ever wanted to do is to please you in; my walk with the Lord, my work for the Lord, and at the war front. I wanted to be your Adino - developing myself prayerfully and studiously to reach that place where you could trust me with any assignment, knowing I will deliver. Oh! How I wanted to serve you You will always tell me, Daniel I have believed in you and trusted you, those words did something extraordinary to my soul and body. when I learnt of your exploit in and your work of faith in the Gospel I got inspired to write mine I took my first missionary journey to a different state I have never been before acting on my faith I saw same testimony and victory sharing that with you was all I wanted to keep doing, making you proud always 🥲😭😭.... Pastor was more than a pastor to me he was a father, my instructor and my mentor, he gave me opportunities and privileges, I just could remember those times pastor will say to me ensure you clean my room and when you come back we would sit and you will start discussing with me and brothers here in Benin Republic.. dearest Dad I will miss you on this side of heaven. You loved so dearly as a father should love his own son that was the kind of love you have for me, never for once have you ever hold back anything good from me. Your life on the pulpit was nothing different from the life you lived off the pulpit, I can say that because I had the opportunity of working and serving under you directly. . Pastor showed me great Love. Your words brought encouragement and hope to me, the time's of your counsel and direction you gave to me I miss how you will always call me PD and with great smile 😊 Dada I truly miss you 🥲 Your life reminds me of the words of Paul: “Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ.” — 1 Corinthians 11:1 As I look back, I realize that serving you was not simply a responsibility; it was a privilege. Every opportunity I had to serve, to learn, to listen, and to walk alongside you was an investment into my own life that I will never forget. I saw FAITH and LOVE mixed together you displayed WISDOM you lived a live full of LOVE. My Pastor, Theophilus Owase! As you would often say, “This special daughter of mine.” Memories of meeting you for the first time and how I smiled because I finally had “My Pastor.” Indeed, God gave me the best. The opportunity of experiencing such love from you. Thank you, sir! Pastor lived and loved. Pastor’s love was liquid and palpable. A love that erases every lie and sees the truth. Pastor was excellence itself. “If it can be done a better way, then let it be done…” Pastor was sold out for the gospel. His sole purpose was to do the will of God and nothing else, and he did it with so much joy! My Pastor, a man of prayer. Every day, Pastor shared the importance of prayer and fellowship.
