"My Advantage, My Pastor, My Boss In every thing, we give thanks as admonished by the scripture. The Highly Esteemed Pastor Theophilus Owase was more than a pastor to me; he was my advantage. He affectionately and truly called me His Son, a rare privilege I enjoyed under his leadership. Pastor Theophilus taught me to love, give, dare and win in the wars of the Lord. ‎I called him "my advantage" because He truly is the advantage. Like Moses to Joshua, in Exodus 17:11a, 'As long as Moses held up the staff in his hand, the Israelites had the advantage, so was pastor to me as He says, "Pastor Manasseh, I am praying for you. You will do exploits." Yes, we did exploits! ‎We won two global awards for the first time because of you. We use the stadium for crusade for the first time because of you. There are many 'firsts' you made happened in partnership, pioneering, growth, leadership among others. ‎As I reminisce your investment in me and the zone, it is worth saying Thank You Sir for living for the Lord and showing us the way. The vision you showed us in line with the Ministry of Our Dear Man of God like Habakkuk 2:2 says...write the vision and make plain on tables is truly written plainly in the tables of our hearts; We continue the mandate of racing for the last man and manifesting the vision of the ministry. I thank God you came and we are the fruits of your labor. As we mourn for your absence and rejoice for your presence with the Lord, we pray for the comfort of the spirit to the family and us all. "In Loving Memory of Highly Esteemed Pastor Tee We gather not to mourn a loss but to celebrate a life well-lived. We are not here to say goodbye but to say "well done" to a faithful general. I met Pastor Tee at Ambrose Alli University during a season when I needed direction, when the weight of campus life and personal challenges threatened to pull me under. He wasn't just a leader to me, He was intentionality personified. He taught us the Word of God not as a lecture but as life. He didn't just preach care. He embodied it. He didn't just encourage us in words. He backed it with deeds. I remember one day vividly. I had made a difficult decision to leave campus ministry for church ministry due to some personal challenges. I was uncertain, burdened, and carrying questions I couldn't articulate. He called me to his office. He didn't scold. He didn't question. He prayed. He spoke life. He released me with grace and truth woven together. That's who he was. There was something distinctive about him. Something that reminded me of our Man of God, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome: the calm, the gentle steps, the smile, and the quiet authority that comes from walking with God. Today, I am a different person because he invested in me. I am in ministry, I am walking in purpose, I am standing in faith because a man of God saw something in me and refused to let me forget it. And I am not alone. There are hundreds, perhaps thousands, who can tell similar stories. Lives shaped. Destinies released. Faith ignited. That's the measure of a true shepherd. His sudden departure is still a mystery to me. I won't pretend to understand. But I know this: he is not lost. He is seated in heavenly places, not as a metaphor, not as a comforting phrase, but as a realistic reality. He taught us about heaven. He preached about eternity. And now he is there.
